High School Dual Enrollment Program

The University of Montana and Missoula College Dual Enrollment Program is an opportunity for Montana high school and homeschool students to take college courses while they are completing their high school level graduation requirements. Dual Enrollment tuition is 50% of the Resident Missoula College tuition rate, students do not have to pay any mandatory fees except for applicable course fees, books, and supplies. Students have two paths in the program that can be taken separately or simultaneously: Early College or Concurrent Enrollment.

Both Early College and Concurrent Enrollment students are admitted through the Missoula College but are University of Montana students. In our Early College program students can take 100 and 200 level courses online or at any of our local Campuses: Mountain Campus, Bitterroot Campus, Missoula College River Campus, and the Missoula College Industrial Campus. Students must meet any pre-requisites for the course and follow all the same deadlines as our Undergraduate students. Students wishing to enroll in developmental courses (e.g. M 095, WRIT 095) or upper-division courses (300 level and above) will be charged Missoula College tuition and fees.

Our Concurrent Enrollment students complete a college-level course at their high school. These courses are taught by qualified high school instructors and students will get not only high school credit for the course but the equivalent college credit. As the classes take place at the high school students will have different deadlines from online or on-campus students and will only pay the reduced tuition rate, they will not be responsible for any books and there are no course fees.
