UM Days

UM Days provides prospective students and their families a unique opportunity to experience life at The University of Montana. A number of special events are scheduled during UM Days for participants to explore campus with other students. By attending UM Days, you will have the chance to take a guided tour of campus, view rooms in each of our residence halls, visit with faculty from your academic areas of interest, and hear from various student services on campus, including financial aid, residence life, and career services. 

The UM Days program is designed as a preview and introducation of The University of Montana for prospective students. UM also hosts an orientation program for students to learn about class registration, academic advising, and transitioning to college.

8:00-9:30am - Check-in at the University Center 3rd Floor

8:15, 8:30, and 8:45am - Campus tours depart from the U.C.

9:30am - Transfer Student Meeting

9:30am - Welcome and Admissions Information

10:00-11:00am - Student Services Forum 

11:00-11:45am - Financial Aid Presentation

11:45am-1:00pm - FREE Lunch in the Food Zoo

1:00-2:00pm - Student Panel 

2:00pm - Academic department meetings

2:00-4:30pm - Residence Hall Open Houses

2:00 and 3:30pm - Campus tours depart from the Grizzly Bear Statue

3:00-5:00pm - Check out
