You should apply as a transfer student if you have graduated from high school or earned a GED, attended another college and attempted 12 or more college-level credits. You can transfer to UM with a minimum grade point average of 2.0. If you have attempted fewer than 12 college-level credits, you must still submit transcripts from previous schools, and satisfy the same admission requirements as new freshmen.
