Meals

We offer optional meals with the programs, hosted by our award-winning Dining Services program. Enjoy a "Taste of the Food Zoo" dinner on Wednesday evening, and the locally-grown "Farm-to-College Luncheon" on Thursday afternoon.

Housing

Students and their families can get a taste of campus life and opt to stay in the dorms during their stay at UM during Summer Orientation. We will supply the room with bedding linens and a pillow. You are also welcome to stay at one of the many fine hotels in Missoula. If the weather report is predicting sun make sure to bring a fan!

Family Orientation

We know how important the students' families can be in supporting their education, so we have a concurrent Family Orientation where parents can learn more about the UM experience in a program tailored to their specific needs.

Families will learn about the transition from high school to college, hear about support services available to their students, and can connect with other families who are going through the same process of sending their students to college. You will hear from Residence Life, Curry Health Center, Dining Services, Freshmen Programs, Career Services, Campus Safety and many more!

Registration

Registration forms were mailed out to all accepted students in late March, and you can register online now! Due to capacity limitations, Orientations do fill, so please register in advance if your schedule isn't flexible.
