"I came from a small town where the entire K-12 school was smaller than my freshman history class. I worried about how I would fit in and would adjust to not being able to know everybody around me. But that's where the dorms kicked in. Campus already feels small as it is but the dorms increased that feeling. They really became my community and I've lived on campus for all four years of my college career and have made life long friends in the dorms."

 

 

Spring Orientation

What's the story with Spring Orientation? 

This Orientation will provide you the opportunity to learn how to register for your classes and meet with your advisor. Orientation also teaches you about various services available on campus such as technology options, financial aid, campus recreation and more! It is required for all incoming students. We will mail you further information in late December, but don't worry--you are automatically registered for Spring Orientation as soon as you are accepted to The University of Montana for Spring 2010!

Check in Wednesday, January 20 from 7:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. in the UC Atrium
Opening meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. in Urey Lecture Hall

Transfer Students
Check in Wednesday, January 20 anytime from 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Meals

There are many places available to eat on campus during Spring Orientation, including the UC Market and UC Food Court.

Housing

We are unable to offer on-campus housing during Spring Orientation. If you are living in the residence halls you can move into your room starting January 19th. You are also welcome to stay at one of the many fine hotels in Missoula.
