Transfer Transition is an orientation targeting Tribal College Transfer Students and/or any transfer student, allowing them to come to campus and go through a one day orientation and register for courses while current students are also registering.

Native American Enhanced Orientation is focused on Native American Students to assist them in the transition to the university. Students invited to attend this session are mentored by a current successful college student as well as getting to know key support staff and faculty. Dual Application promotes the successful transfer of students between Montana Tribal Colleges and Northwest College (in Wyoming) to The University of Montana. The goal is to have students entering a collaborating school apply through the Dual Application Agreement, allowing Admissions Counselors from The University of Montana and Transition Counselors from collaborating institutions to help students plan a course of study, establish a line of communication and get early assistance in transfer orientation. Please see your transfer transition counselor at your Tribal College or contact the Enrollment Services - Admissions at 800.462.8636.
