The Davidson Honors College

The Davidson Honors College provides outstanding undergraduate students with extraordinary educational and cultural opportunities. Honors College students enroll in challenging courses and participate in special experiences outside the classroom that enhance the regular offerings and activities of The University. The Honors College is open to students in any academic major, and offers the intensive learning environment of a small liberal arts and sciences college within a larger research university.

Students applying for admissions to The Davidson Honors College should show clear evidence of academic talent and motivation. Generally, a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 is expected, as well as an ACT composite score of 27 or SAT combined score of 1800 or higher. These criteria are not absolute, and highly motivated students are encouraged to apply.

Applications for the Davidson Honors College received by December 31st will also be automatically considered for the Presidential Leadership Scholarship. The Presidential Leadership Scholarships are The University of Montana’s premier academic scholarships—recognizing outstanding talent, academic performance and contribution to the community.
