The College of Technology has established priority deadlines to provide students with a timeline that will allow for a successful transition and access to academic programs.
Admission
The College of Technology has a rolling admission policy. There are no application deadlines and students may apply at any time. However, many of our academic programs fill quickly. Early application is recommended to reserve a spot in the program of your choice. Applying early also gives students a head start on completing the next steps toward enrollment.
Priority Admission Deadlines:
Autumn Semester: March 1
Spring Semester: November 15

At The College of Technology, many of our academic programs fill up quickly due to the rolling admission policy. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to apply early! We often have waiting lists for some programs. If you are admitted to a program and placed on a waiting list, you should still consider working on your general education courses.
Financial Aid
The University of Montana understands the importance of funding your education. To be considered for the maximum amount of aid, please submit all application materials and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the priority deadline of February 15.
