We're glad you're considering applying for undergraduate admission to The University of Montana. We encourage you to apply early to ensure a smooth transition to the University.

Priority Admission Dates 

If you submit the application for undergraduate admission and all required documents by the following dates, you will receive priority in admission processing:

The University of Montana practices rolling admissions—applications received after the priority dates are considered on a space-available basis. 

Freshman Admission

You are considered a freshman if you are any of the following:

If you meet any of the above, please continue to Freshman Admissions.

Transfer Admission

If you have attended another college and attempted 12 or more college-level credits you are considered a transfer student in the admission process; please continue to Transfer Admissions.

International Admission

You are considered an international student if:

If either of the above is true, please continue to International Admissions.

High School Pilot Admission

High school junior and senior students of outstanding ability can earn credit in regularly scheduled courses at The University of Montana through the High School Pilot Program.
