Campus Visit 01/03/2012

These are real stories from our campus visitors. Take a look at their experience and submit your own after you’ve visited campus!

Visitor: Miranda from California

Please describe the most unique/best part of your campus visit experience.

For me, the best part of my campus visit was finally being able to correctly imagine how life is going to be living and attending class on campus next fall. My guide answered each and every question that I had and showed my family and I everything we had been dying to see. I also loved being able to see the dorms and their rooms during my campus tour so that I could decide which one I wanted to live in, none of the other campus’ I’ve visited allowed me to do that! My all time favorite part of my trip to Missoula would have to be seeing my first flash mob at the Southgate Mall! It was totally unexpected and very cool. I loved that everybody supported the performers and that the mall itself allowed them to perform, it made me love Missoula even more.

Please share any tips, suggestions, or recommendations for future visitors to do/see on campus? In Missoula? In Montana?

Some tips I would give to future visitors would be to definitely ask to see the dorms, make appointments with the departments you are thinking of majoring in because they give you a ton of information, visit downtown Missoula and get a feel of the town as a whole, try to take a day to go snowboarding/skiing (trust me you wont regret it!) and dont forget to take lots of pictures!

My dad took this while waiting for me and my mom to finish touring Craig hall:)
