Campus Visit

These are real stories from our campus visitors. Take a look at their experience and submit your own after you’ve visited campus!

Visitor: Chance from Idaho

Please describe the most unique/best part of your campus visit experience.

I don’t know the exact date of when I came, but my best friend and I came to campus over summer for University of Montana’s first ever Griz Night. It was so much fun playing games, going on a scavenger hunt around campus, eating in the food zoo, using the work out center, and learning more about the university. We got to stay overnight in Craig Hall, and meet other future students. I think the best part of my experience was being able to REALLY see the campus, staying in the dorms, actually using the facilities, and getting to know current UM students.

Please share any tips, suggestions, or recommendations for future visitors to do/see on campus? In Missoula? In Montana?

I recommend going to the Staggering Ox for some of the best sandwiches ever. (: And if you love salad, the Food Zoo is the place to go. I looove their salad bar. While I was there, we hiked the M at like midnight, and the view was spectacular. the lights of Missoula made the trip up more than worth it. Just watch your step. (:
